How You Can Help

Our goals for 2026 are to:

• Get 2,500 books to 800 young people in Harlem
• Provide stipends to young adults to work with us
• Launch reading and book events
• Begin bookselling with affordable prices
• Secure a home space (at least 1500 square feet) to anchor our work

You can help by:

• Volunteering your time.  For our neighborhood events, we prefer volunteers who live in or near Harlem, south Bronx or Upper Manhattan.
• Connecting us to grants or donors
