Our goals for 2026 are to:

  • Get 2,500 books to 800 young people in Harlem.
  • Provide stipends to young people to help deliver our book events.
  • Launch series of book events with community readings.
  • Begin bookselling with more affordable prices.
  • Secure a home space (~1,200 square feet) to anchor our work.

You can help by:
  • Volunteering your time.  For neighborhood events, we prefer volunteers who live in or near Harlem, Upper Manhattan or South Bronx.
  • Connecting us to grants or donors.
